Our Story

Training, treats and tail wags

We started in 2018 as the first dog daycare in the area, providing a social and exercise outlet for dogs stuck at home all day. With over a decade of experience in pet training and a strong background in animal science, we pride ourselves on providing a safe, social, and fun environment for your dogs. As we continue to grow, we’re excited to announce our transition to an exclusive training-based daycare and boarding facility, ensuring that all new dogs are graduates of our training program. We treat every dog like family, and many of our beloved pups have been us for years.

What to expect and how to get started

At Cooper Creek Kennels, we’re an exclusive training-based daycare focused on creating a comfortable, safe, and fun environment where your dog can thrive. We believe in building a strong pack, and we’d love for you and your pup to become a part of ours!

Step 1: Get in Touch!

Fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page. This is the first step to joining our pack! Please use the form instead of calling or messaging on social media so we can get to you easier.

Step 2: Create Your Client Portal

Once we receive your form, we’ll send you a link to your very own client portal. Here, you can create your account and provide all the important information we need to care for your dog, including:

* Your contact and emergency information

* Your veterinarian’s details

* Your dog’s information

* Proof of vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella) and a recent negative fecal test. You can upload these directly to the portal or email them to us beforehand!

Step 3: Free In-Person Evaluation

The final step is a complimentary in-person consult. This is our chance to meet you and your wonderful dog, discuss your goals, and create a customized plan for their time with us. Whether it's for extensive training or just to get them acquainted with our pack, we want to ensure a perfect fit.

We’re not your average daycare. We’re dedicated to making sure every dog in our care feels comfortable, happy, and secure. We want to be a regular, positive part of you and your dog's life, not a source of anxiety from a visit once every few years or a place to rehearse bad habits.

A friendly reminder:

To ensure the continued comfort and safety of our pack, all evaluations are valid for one year.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your pup to the Cooper Creek Kennels Pack!

About Me

Hey! Im Josie,

I have over 15 years of experience training hundreds of dogs and owners. I grew up showing and training huskies, terriers and hounds. While I hold a bachelors degree in animal science and have plenty of hands-on experience working in vet clinics and boarding facilities, I am continuously expanding my education with online certifications and books, titling my own dogs in various sports, attending training workshops and trainer mentorship programs throughout the year. I am an AKC certified CGC, CGCU and STAR puppy tester and have a registered ATD therapy dog team with my husky. In my spare time I enjoy taking my dogs off-leash hiking and camping.
